Parabellum Investments Acquires Crux Informatics to Expand AI Data Infrastructure for Finance
Parabellum Investments has acquired Crux Informatics, a provider of external data management platforms for financial institutions, announced in a press release. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Crux manages data from more than 200 providers, including Morningstar, Moody’s Analytics, and MSCI, and integrates with cloud services such as Google Cloud, Databricks, and Snowflake. Its main products include Sphere, a managed service for data onboarding and transformation, and ArrayX, a platform that supports automated and self-healing data pipelines.
Parabellum stated that the acquisition will help accelerate Crux's product innovation and international expansion. The company plans to increase investment in artificial intelligence for data management and analytics workflows, including applications in trading and market analysis.
Crux’s clients include major financial institutions such as Goldman Sachs, Two Sigma, and Google Cloud. The company focuses on simplifying the process of turning raw external data into structured information suitable for analysis and decision-making.
