Anthropic Investors Expect $2 Trillion Valuation in October IPO
Anthropic investors expect the company to seek a valuation of more than $2 trillion in an October initial public offering, following a Financial Times report summarized by Forbes. That price would make it the largest IPO to date and would exceed the $1.77 trillion listing of SpaceX earlier this year.
Anthropic filed confidentially in June and has not set a public valuation. Some investors have said the company could be worth as much as $3 trillion if revenue continues to rise at its current pace.
The company’s annualized run rate was about $1 billion at the end of 2024, about $9 billion at the end of 2025, and $47 billion in May. Investors expect the figure to reach $100 billion to $120 billion by December. A run rate annualizes the latest monthly sales pace and does not mean the company has booked that amount in yearly revenue.
Anthropic sells Claude products to businesses and has raised large amounts of capital ahead of the listing. A $65 billion funding round in May valued the company at $965 billion.
