Pantherun Technologies Launches Pepper Platform at Altera Innovator's Day
Pantherun Technologies has announced its participation at Altera Innovator's Day 2025, where it will showcase Pepper, an FPGA-based open-source platform for edge AI and networking. This event, scheduled for September 30, marks the official launch of Pepper in the United States, announced in a press release.
Pepper is designed as a DIY development module that allows engineers, developers, and enterprises to rapidly build and deploy intelligent, secure, and connected edge devices. It features an FPGA System-on-Chip (SoC) that can be reprogrammed for various applications, combined with Pantherun's proprietary latency-free AES encryption for enhanced security.
The platform is equipped with advanced security features, including built-in AES encryption, multiple VPN protocols, and firewall support, making it suitable for global deployment. It is based on the same proven FPGA technology as Pantherun's existing products, trusted in sectors like railway, defense, and automotive.
Pepper's launch at Altera Innovator's Day highlights its potential to empower industries ranging from robotics and automotive to smart cities and defense, combining open-source flexibility with high-performance and secure architecture.
