Oracle Health plans to add AI capabilities across its revenue cycle management portfolio for US healthcare organizations. The tools will support prior authorization, documentation review, charge capture, medical coding, and appeals.

Oracle Health announced in a press release that it plans to release new AI capabilities across its revenue cycle management portfolio in the coming months. The tools will connect workflows spanning scheduling, financial clearance, clinical documentation, charge capture, billing, and payment.

The planned capabilities will check coverage and prepare information for prior authorization requests. Other tools will review documentation for missing details, recommend medical codes for professional fees, analyze charges, identify payment variances, and prepare appeal packets.

Oracle Health also plans to connect reimbursement workflows with financial reconciliation, revenue accounting, treasury management, and analytics through Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications. General availability is planned for the coming months.
