Numa Launches Operator AI Receptionist for Auto Dealerships

Numa announced in a press release the launch of Operator, an AI receptionist for automobile dealerships. The system answers calls across every dealership line, identifies the reason for each call, and routes the caller with that context to the appropriate employee or department.

Operator can replace or supplement a dealership's phone tree and is configured around its staff and departments. Numa says its Precision Routing system has sent 95% of calls to the correct destination.

Operator is part of Numa's AI Operating System, which the company says has handled more than 1 billion calls and texts and booked over 4 million appointments across more than 1,300 dealerships in the United States and Canada. Numa will demonstrate Operator at the Digital Dealer Conference & Expo in Detroit on September 22 and 23.
