Noyb Files Five European Privacy Complaints Against Scale AI
Noyb is filing five European complaints against Scale AI over its collection of worker data through the Outlier platform, according to Euronews. The privacy group said it is filing two complaints in Austria and one each in France, Italy and the Netherlands.
Outlier recruits freelancers and subject matter experts to evaluate and correct AI model responses. Noyb said the platform has more than 900,000 workers and collects extensive personal data from them.
The group alleges that trackers from TikTok, LinkedIn and Facebook can access information including IP addresses, contact details and data used for advertising and profiling while workers use the platform. It also claims Scale AI requires repeated biometric checks through Persona, including facial videos and identity document uploads.
"Why should LinkedIn or Facebook know which tasks you're working on?" said Lisa Steinfeld Leiser, a data protection lawyer at Noyb.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
