New Hampshire DOT Picks Geotab for Fleet Telematics and AI Cameras
Geotab will provide telematics and AI camera systems for the New Hampshire Department of Transportation statewide fleet, the company announced in a press release.
The deployment will include real time engine diagnostics, vehicle tracking, and automated maintenance monitoring. NHDOT will use different camera setups by fleet type.
Highway Safety Patrol vehicles will receive dual front and rear facing AI cameras that analyze video on board to detect crashes and log near misses. Winter Operations vehicles will use forward facing AI cameras to capture road conditions, winter service activity, and storm clearing progress.
Geotab said the system will support compliance with New Hampshire RSA 266 vehicle equipment standards. The agency will use the platform to combine telematics and video context, reduce duplicate administrative logging, and support fleet maintenance planning.
