Mynd.ai has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire an award-winning AI voice and remote-control technology, announced in a press release. This acquisition includes all related software, patents, trademarks, and intellectual property.

The technology allows for voice and remote control of PCs and Macs using a remote control, USB receiver, and browser extension. It is designed to provide educators with greater flexibility by enabling them to control classroom displays from anywhere in the room.

Mynd.ai plans to integrate this technology into its Promethean ActivSuite and Explain Everything platforms, aiming to enhance automation and content interaction for educators. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter, pending certain conditions.
