Mycroft Secures $3.5 Million to Expand AI Security Platform
Mycroft, an AI platform that functions as a Security and Compliance Officer, has emerged from stealth with a $3.5 million seed funding round. The financing was led by Luge Capital, with participation from Brightspark Ventures, Graphite Ventures, and existing investors such as Ripple Ventures and Developer Capital, announced in a press release.
Mycroft aims to streamline security and compliance processes by replacing traditional tools and manual workflows with a single AI-driven solution. This platform continuously monitors cloud infrastructure, secures devices, enforces policies, manages incidents, and prepares companies for audits. The AI agents are designed to adapt to each company's environment, effectively acting as a virtual CISO, GRC expert, and IT operations team.
The new funding will be used to accelerate product development and expand Mycroft's operations to serve a broader customer base. Within the first six months of its launch, Mycroft has already attracted over 50 customers, including companies like Superwhisper, Evolo, and CoVet.
