Mednet Launches TrialMatch for Cancer Clinical Trial Discovery
Mednet has launched TrialMatch, an AI clinical trial discovery tool for oncologists, the company announced in a press release. The tool was developed through a $2 million contract from the National Cancer Institute SBIR/STTR program.
TrialMatch lets oncologists describe a patient profile in natural language through Mednet AI. It then identifies open cancer trials based on factors including diagnosis, stage, biomarkers, and location. Results include match rationales and enrollment links.
The tool also works inside Mednet's physician community, where it surfaces enrolling trials in clinical discussions. Mednet says more than 45,000 physicians across 23 specialties use the community.
The NCI contract also funds a prospective evaluation with the SWOG Cancer Research Network. The study will assess whether AI assisted trial matching increases physician awareness of clinical trials and improves patient enrollment. TrialMatch is available now at no cost to oncologists through Mednet AI and across Mednet's physician community.
