McGowan Acquires Limit to Enhance AI-Driven Insurance Solutions
The McGowan Companies has announced the acquisition of Limit.com, a leading AI-enabled digital wholesale insurance brokerage, announced in a press release. This strategic acquisition aims to enhance McGowan's technology offerings and expand its market reach.
Limit operates two divisions: Limit Wholesale and Limit AI. Limit Wholesale specializes in Cyber Liability and Technology E&O, providing a digital platform where retail insurance brokerages can access up to 100 insurance markets online. Limit AI offers digital risk management tools that allow brokerages to compare quotes and policies efficiently.
Following the acquisition, Limit will continue to operate under its brand within The McGowan Companies, with Shea McNamara leading the team. This move aligns with McGowan's growth strategy to empower retailers with faster market access and smarter risk management solutions.
