LG Launches PADO AI for Smart Energy Management
LG Electronics has unveiled PADO AI Orchestration, Inc., a new venture focused on revolutionizing energy management for data centers, commercial, and industrial facilities. Announced in a press release, PADO aims to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies to optimize power, grid services, and distributed energy resources (DERs).
PADO's platform is designed to provide real-time analysis, load and price forecasting, and ROI analysis, enhancing the efficiency and profitability of energy management. It also supports data sharing with third parties via open API and offers carbon credit and ESG reporting capabilities.
Backed by LG NOVA, LG Electronics' North American Innovation Center, PADO seeks to address the growing energy demands of data centers, which currently consume a significant portion of the world's electricity. The platform aims to empower businesses to better manage their energy consumption and improve operational efficiencies.
