LG Innotek Targets $5.94 Billion in Semiconductor and Physical AI Businesses
LG Innotek plans to grow its semiconductor substrate and physical AI businesses to $5.94 billion by 2030, it said in a press release. The company expects these businesses to account for 25 percent of total revenue.
LG Innotek reported first half revenue of $8.22 billion and operating profit of $401.96 million. Revenue increased 24 percent from a year earlier, while operating profit rose 296 percent.
The company began high volume production of FC-BGA substrates for PC CPUs in the third quarter. It plans to enter the AI accelerator and AI server markets from 2027, while expanding its FC-CSP and RF-SiP substrate businesses.
Its robotics component business generated revenue for the first time in 2026. LG Innotek is producing camera modules for humanoid robot customers at its Paju factory and is developing autonomous driving and robotics sensing systems with Applied Intuition, Boston Dynamics and TDK.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
