Labcorp Expands Diagnostic Integration with Epic's Aura Platform
Labcorp has expanded its collaboration with Epic Systems Corporation, announced in a press release. The partnership will make Labcorp’s entire test menu accessible through Epic’s Aura platform, enabling hospitals and health systems using Epic to order and receive lab results directly within their existing workflows.
The integration builds on the earlier deployment of Invitae genetic testing through Aura. It aims to reduce IT complexity, shorten integration timelines, and lower maintenance costs for health systems. By connecting through Aura, clinicians can access Labcorp’s full range of diagnostic tests and new offerings as they become available.
Epic stated that expanding Labcorp’s use of Aura will allow clinicians to order appropriate tests more efficiently and receive results faster. Labcorp noted that the collaboration supports its goal of simplifying lab integrations and improving access to diagnostic innovation across Epic’s network of healthcare organizations.
