KPMG Integrates Anthropic's Claude Across Global Operations

May 21, 2026
KPMG has formed a global alliance with Anthropic to embed the Claude AI model into its Digital Gateway platform, giving all 276,000 employees access and expanding AI use in tax, legal, and private equity services.

KPMG has announced a global alliance with Anthropic to integrate the Claude AI model across its global operations, according to a company announcement. The collaboration will embed Claude inside KPMG’s Digital Gateway, the platform used for tax and legal client work, and extend access to all 276,000 employees worldwide.

The integration will allow KPMG professionals and clients to build AI tools directly within Digital Gateway, which is hosted on Microsoft Azure. The firm said this setup will enable tasks that previously took weeks, such as developing tools to address new tax regulations, to be completed in minutes. KPMG plans to begin using the Claude-enabled platform by the end of September.

As part of the alliance, Anthropic has named KPMG a preferred partner for private equity engagements. The firms will co-develop new AI products for portfolio companies, including offerings that help modernize IT systems and deploy AI solutions more efficiently. KPMG will also apply Claude in cybersecurity work to identify and address vulnerabilities.

KPMG described the initiative as a firm-wide commitment to responsible AI, guided by its Trusted AI framework. The alliance builds on earlier internal adoption of Claude within KPMG’s AI and Data Labs and extends the technology across its advisory, tax, and legal service lines.
