UKG Connects Claude to Workforce Data and Actions
UKG announced in a press release the beta availability of UKG in Claude, which connects its workforce platform with the AI assistant from Anthropic. Leaders can ask questions about workforce operations in plain language and receive answers based on their organization's UKG data.
Claude can analyze schedules, hours, pay rules, and labor policies to explain changes such as an overtime increase. It can identify affected locations and roles, then present actions supported by UKG. Leaders retain control over decisions, while Claude follows existing permissions, rules, and controls.
The connector uses Model Context Protocol, an open standard for connecting AI tools with business systems. UKG says the integration can both answer questions and take supported actions within the organization's configured rules.

Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
