Kinetech has launched GovShield, a secure AI platform designed for law enforcement and government agencies, built on the Mendix low-code platform to meet CJIS compliance standards.

Kinetech has launched GovShield, a secure AI platform designed for law enforcement and government agencies, announced in a press release. The platform provides the efficiency of Large Language Models within a CJIS-compliant, containerized cloud environment that adheres to strict data sovereignty and privacy requirements.

Developed using the Mendix enterprise low-code platform, GovShield delivers AI-driven tools to assist officers with tasks such as auto-redaction, crime mapping and analysis, report review, and bulletin generation. The system employs Agentic AI, enabling intelligent agents to execute complex, multi-step workflows securely within government infrastructure.

Kinetech’s U.S.-based engineering team ensured that GovShield meets high security standards, including AES-256 encryption and role-based access control. Through Kinetech’s contract with TXShare, other public sector agencies can procure similar AI solutions and Mendix licensing through a compliant procurement process.
