Intelliflicks and Visual Alchemy Unveil AI-Driven Film Slate at Cannes
Intelliflicks and Visual Alchemy, in collaboration with veteran Hollywood producer Tony DeRosa-Grund, have announced the launch of the industry's first film slate powered by generative AI technology at the Cannes Film Festival. This initiative, announced in a press release, aims to revolutionize the film industry by combining human creativity with AI to significantly reduce production time and costs.
The film slate includes five diverse titles: "Stoker," a modern thriller; "End of the Rainbow," a financial crime thriller; "The Nick Pope Story," a UFO conspiracy thriller; "The Cat," an animated spy comedy; and "Scream World," a supernatural horror story. The project is already underway with "Maharaja in Denims," serving as a proof-of-concept for this innovative approach.
Gurdeep Pall, co-founder of Intelliflicks and former Microsoft VP, along with Tony DeRosa-Grund, creator of "The Conjuring," emphasize that their Hybrid Generative AI Model, or HyGenAI, empowers rather than replaces creative artists. This model is designed to make high-quality film production accessible to smaller studios and independent filmmakers, leveling the playing field in the industry.
