IBM Unveils AI Advancements at TechXchange 2025
IBM has announced new capabilities to help enterprises operationalize AI, including enhancements in agentic orchestration and infrastructure automation, as stated in a press release. These advancements were unveiled at TechXchange 2025, IBM's annual event for developers and technologists.
A key highlight is the enhancement of IBM's agentic AI framework, particularly through watsonx Orchestrate. This product offers over 500 tools and customizable agents, designed to be adaptable to any environment. New features include AgentOps, which provides real-time monitoring and policy-based controls to ensure agent reliability.
IBM also introduced Project infragraph, a unified control plane for observability, aimed at eliminating information silos in hybrid and multi-cloud environments. This project is expected to be integrated into the HashiCorp Cloud Platform by December 2025.
Additionally, IBM's new AI-first integrated development environment, Project Bob, is in private tech preview. It aims to transform software development lifecycles by leveraging large language models, including those from Anthropic, to enhance productivity and security in enterprise software development.
