During the Mobile AI Summit at MWC Shanghai 2025, they emphasized the importance of enhancing 5G-A uplink experiences and network-service synergy to drive AI experience monetization.

The summit also marked the inauguration of the GSMA Foundry project: Mobile Network for Thriving AI. This initiative signifies a shift towards experience-centered network construction for mobile AI. Industry leaders, including representatives from Rokid, MiniMax, and Unitree Robotics, discussed the role of AI service providers in seizing new market opportunities through differentiated competition.

Huawei showcased its GigaBand solution portfolio, which supports the evolution of 5G-A networks to accommodate new AI services. This technology enables operators to build elastic networks with SLA assurance, facilitating services like live streaming and cloud gaming. The deployment of GigaBand in Hong Kong has notably increased 5G throughput while maintaining stable 4G experiences, highlighting its potential for efficient and smart network development.
