Huawei Unveils AI Data Lake Solution to Boost Industry Intelligence
Huawei has launched its AI Data Lake Solution at the 4th Huawei Innovative Data Infrastructure Forum in Munich, Germany, announced in a press release. The solution is designed to accelerate AI adoption across various industries by integrating data storage, management, and AI toolchain capabilities.
Peter Zhou, Vice President of Huawei and President of Huawei Data Storage Product Line, introduced the solution, emphasizing the importance of being 'AI-ready' by being 'data-ready.' The AI Data Lake Solution aims to transform data into actionable information and knowledge, enhancing model training and inference processes.
Key components of the solution include the Huawei OceanStor A series for high-performance AI storage, which significantly boosts cluster training efficiency and enhances inference performance. Additionally, the OceanStor Pacific All-Flash Scale-Out Storage offers high capacity and low power consumption, making it suitable for data-intensive workloads.
Huawei's OceanProtect Backup Storage provides robust data protection with high backup performance and ransomware detection accuracy. The solution also features Huawei DME for data management, enabling data visibility and mobility across regions, and the DCS platform for efficient resource management through virtualization and container technologies.
