Besi Orders Beat Forecasts on AI Data Center Demand
BE Semiconductor Industries (Besi) recorded third quarter orders of €342.6 million, exceeding analyst expectations as demand from AI data centers remained strong, according to Reuters. Orders rose 17% from the second quarter and 96% from a year earlier, compared with an analyst forecast of €298 million.
Third quarter revenue was €283.4 million. Besi expects fourth quarter revenue to remain broadly unchanged, within a range of 5% above or below that figure. Some customers asked the company to schedule deliveries from third quarter orders around production plans for the first half of 2027.
Besi makes equipment for assembling and packaging chips. Orders for its hybrid bonding systems, which connect stacked chips directly, have more than doubled so far this year compared with all of 2025.
