Hitachi Vantara Launches EverFlex AI Data Hub as a Service
Hitachi Vantara has launched the EverFlex AI Data Hub as a Service, a comprehensive solution aimed at simplifying AI data preparation and integration. Announced in a press release, this new offering provides a modern data lakehouse with integrated workbench capabilities for AI, business intelligence, and data operations.
The EverFlex AI Data Hub as a Service is designed to address the challenges of managing distributed data landscapes by offering a fully managed infrastructure consumption service. It allows organizations to access data from various platforms, including on-premises, private cloud, hybrid cloud, and public cloud, thereby reducing the cost and complexity associated with AI data preparation.
Built on the Virtual Storage Platform One (VSP One), the service enhances data completeness, accuracy, and compliance by integrating data in real-time without duplication. It also emphasizes data governance and quality at the source, facilitating rapid AI and machine learning deployment to accelerate data pipelines.
The service combines Hitachi's EverFlex STaaS, VSP One, and iQ technologies with Cisco-powered hybrid cloud solutions, providing a unified platform for AI, BI, and data operations. This integration aims to empower organizations to manage AI workloads efficiently, offering security, control, and cost savings through hybrid cloud infrastructure.
