Health In Tech has expanded its Enhanced Do-It-Yourself Benefit System (eDIYBS) to serve mid- and large-employer markets, significantly reducing underwriting timelines, as announced in a press release.

Health In Tech has expanded its Enhanced Do-It-Yourself Benefit System (eDIYBS) to cater to mid- and large-employer markets, announced in a press release. Previously focused on small employers, the upgraded system now allows brokers serving employers with 150 or more employees to upload claims files in various formats, such as pictures, PDFs, and spreadsheets.

The AI-powered document intake engine processes these files almost instantly, enabling accurate and bindable quotes to be delivered in a significantly reduced timeframe. For large employers, the quoting process, which traditionally took several months, is now completed in approximately 10 to 14 days. This marks a substantial improvement from the previous timeline of up to several months.

The upgrade also introduces a redesigned quoting interface with intuitive navigation and embedded compliance checkpoints, enhancing efficiency and accuracy. By unifying underwriting for all employer sizes on a single platform, Health In Tech aims to position itself as a leading exchange for healthcare insurance at scale.
