Harvey Raises $150 Million from Andreessen Horowitz at $8 Billion Valuation
Harvey has raised $150 million in fresh funding led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), bringing its valuation to $8 billion, TechFundingNews reported. The round marks Harvey’s third major raise of 2025, following its €50 million investment from EQT Growth earlier this month, which supported its global expansion plans.
Founded in 2022 in San Francisco by Winston Weinberg and Gabriel Pereyra, Harvey develops AI-powered tools that automate legal tasks such as contract analysis, document drafting, and case summarization. The company’s technology is used by law firms and corporate legal teams to reduce administrative workloads and increase efficiency.
The latest funding brings Harvey’s total fundraising this year to roughly $750 million. Existing investors include Sequoia Capital, Coatue Management, the OpenAI Startup Fund, GV, Elad Gil, and Kleiner Perkins. With its expanded capital base, the company plans to refine its products and continue scaling its presence in the legal technology market.
