Harvey has purchased New York-based Benchmark, a decision infrastructure platform for asset management, according to Artificial Lawyer. The acquisition is aimed at enhancing Harvey's tools for legal workflows connected to asset management rather than expanding beyond its legal focus.

Harvey said it already works with 50 asset management firms including Blue Owl Capital, Bridgewater Associates, and KKR, supporting due diligence, data room analysis, and deal document review. Benchmark’s co-founders Alec Dunn and Connor Janson, along with their team, will join Harvey’s product and engineering organization.

Benchmark’s software helps investment firms capture institutional knowledge and apply it to new deals. The company’s clients represent more than two trillion dollars in assets under management and have included backers such as Y Combinator and the Outsiders Fund.

This transaction marks Harvey’s third acquisition in 2026, following purchases of Hexus and Lume earlier in the year, as reported by Law.com. Harvey has described asset management as a rapidly growing segment among its existing customers.
