Harmonic Launches SensAI Platform for Broadband Operations
Harmonic introduced cOS SensAI in a press release, a software platform that combines data from broadband network systems into a single information layer. The vendor independent platform uses a real time model of an operator's network to correlate signals, diagnose problems and explain its findings.
SensAI can classify incidents, predict service problems and automate repetitive workflows. Harmonic says Hotwire Communications and GCI are testing the platform in operational environments, where it is being used to support technicians and reduce repeat incidents and service visits.
Analysys Mason estimates the platform's annual addressable market at about $2.2 billion across its target markets. Harmonic will demonstrate SensAI at Connected Britain on September 9 and 10, and at SCTE TechExpo in Atlanta from September 29 to October 1.
