
Google Opens AI Centre of Excellence in Luxembourg
Google has launched a new office and Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Luxembourg, announced in a press release. The new facilities are located at the University of Luxembourg and aim to serve as a hub for digital transformation and AI innovation.
The Centre of Excellence will focus on research, training, and incubation in cybersecurity and AI, providing skills training and fostering a local ecosystem of partners and startups. This initiative is part of Google's broader effort to support Luxembourg's digital transformation and enhance its reputation as a leader in AI and cybersecurity research.
Google's new office will also house a Cloud go-to-market team dedicated to accelerating cloud adoption in the region. The team will work on building a robust local ecosystem and enabling customers to leverage cloud and AI solutions effectively. Additionally, Google.org will contribute $500,000 to the University of Luxembourg to support cybersecurity training programs.
This strategic move underscores Google's commitment to investing in digital skills and education, aligning with Luxembourg's national strategy for research and innovation.
