Google Expands Opal AI App to 15 More Countries
Google has expanded its AI vibe-coding app, Opal, to 15 more countries. Initially launched in the U.S., Opal is now available in Canada, India, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, Brazil, Singapore, Colombia, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panamá, Honduras, Argentina, and Pakistan. This expansion aims to provide more creators globally with the ability to build AI-powered mini-apps using natural language.
Opal allows users to create mini web apps by entering a description of the desired app, which the tool then builds using various Google models. Users can customize the app's visual workflow and publish it online for others to test. Recent improvements to Opal include enhanced debugging capabilities and performance upgrades, such as faster app creation and the ability to run steps in parallel for complex workflows.
These updates are part of Google's effort to make Opal more accessible and efficient for users, enabling them to build sophisticated and creative applications without needing coding skills.
