Parallel Integrates Web Search with Google's Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform
Parallel Web Systems has partnered with Google Cloud to integrate its agentic web search capabilities into the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, according to a press release. The company’s search infrastructure is now available natively in the Gemini Enterprise API, selectable as a grounding source in Studio, and accessible through the Google Cloud Marketplace with billing consolidated under existing Google Cloud accounts.
The integration enables enterprises to build AI agents with direct access to public web data provided by Parallel’s Search API. The service combines Parallel’s AI focused web index with Gemini model capabilities for prompt handling and citation-ready answers. Because it runs within Google Cloud, customers benefit from secure and unified deployment of web-enabled agents.
The offering, known as Grounding with Parallel Web Search, is available immediately. Users can subscribe through the Google Cloud Marketplace, accept the Parallel service terms, and manage usage via their Google Cloud invoice.
