GDIT Secures $1.25 Billion Task Order for U.S. Army Europe and Africa

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has been awarded a $1.25 billion task order to support U.S. Army Europe and Africa with IT services, including network modernization and cybersecurity enhancements.

General Dynamics Information Technology has been awarded the Enterprise Mission Information Technology Services 2 (EMITS 2) task order, valued at $1.25 billion, to continue its support for U.S. Army Europe and Africa. The task order, announced in a press release, includes a five-month base period for transition and seven option years.

Under this task order, GDIT will provide enterprise IT, communications, and mission command support services to the U.S. Army Europe and Africa's headquarters and its partners, including NATO. The company will focus on modernizing the command's network infrastructure, enhancing its mission partner network, and implementing advanced cybersecurity solutions. Additionally, GDIT plans to leverage technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud computing, and data analytics to improve interoperability and enable rapid decision-making.
