Freehand has raised a $75 million Series B to scale autonomous AI agents for enterprise supply chain spend and back office operations, reports Crunchbase News. The round was co led by Battery Ventures and NewRoad Capital Partners, with participation from Nexus Venture Partners and former U.S. Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker.

The San Francisco based company has now raised $100 million. Freehand declined to disclose its valuation, but CEO and cofounder Nitin Jayakrishnan said it was a significant increase from the company’s $25 million Series A in March 2024.

Freehand builds AI agents that handle supply chain finance work for large enterprises, including invoice review, supplier negotiation, payment processing and procurement workflows. The company’s software is aimed at complex supply chain categories where contract terms, supplier records and internal communications affect payment decisions.
