Fourier Health Raises $8.4M to Streamline Clinical Data Processing with AI
Fourier Health has raised $8.4 million in seed funding led by Yosemite, with participation from Innospark Ventures, NextGen Venture Partners, and Tau Ventures, announced in a press release. The company previously received pre-seed funding from Lasagna, NextGen Venture Partners, Myelin, and Despierta.
Founded in late 2023 by James Lloyd and Christopher Lee, Fourier Health develops a clinician-in-the-loop AI platform that consolidates unstructured clinical data into use-case specific summaries. The system processes multiple data types, including PDFs, handwritten notes, and faxes, to generate concise, actionable insights for healthcare professionals.
The platform integrates with Electronic Health Record systems and automates document labeling and processing, helping reduce administrative tasks and improve patient onboarding. The company reports that clients have experienced a 98% reduction in document validation work and have regained several hours of administrative time per patient.
With the new funding, Fourier Health plans to expand its engineering, sales, and implementation teams while refining its research and development infrastructure to enhance its AI-driven data processing capabilities.
