Flux Raises $37 Million to Expand AI Hardware Design Platform
Flux, the AI-powered hardware engineering platform, has raised $37 million in new investment, including a $27 million Series B led by 8VC and a previously undisclosed $10 million Series A led by Outsiders Fund, announced in a press release. Existing investors Bain Capital Ventures, Liquid 2 Ventures, and Outsiders Fund also participated.
Flux’s AI platform enables users to design circuit boards, source components, and test hardware directly in a web browser using natural language prompts. The company reports that over 1 million users have designed nearly 6.5 million devices through its platform, ranging from wearables to robotics and IoT systems.
The new funding will support the company’s efforts to expand its AI capabilities to handle more complex electronic design tasks. Flux aims to make hardware creation faster and more accessible by automating design processes traditionally requiring specialized engineering expertise.
