Deloitte Buys Wavicle Data Solutions to Expand Data and AI Engineering

Deloitte has acquired substantially all assets of Wavicle Data Solutions, adding data and AI engineering talent and a Databricks practice to its consulting business.

Deloitte has acquired substantially all assets of Wavicle Data Solutions, announced in a press release. The deal adds Wavicle's data and AI engineering work to Deloitte Consulting.

Wavicle brings a Databricks practice and experience managing Databricks across major cloud providers. Deloitte said the team also adds data engineering skills in consumer goods, manufacturing, financial services, life sciences, and healthcare.

Deloitte said Wavicle engineers will work with its existing AI and Engineering business and Databricks alliance portfolio. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
