Ezurio has acquired California-based Gateworks Corporation, a designer of industrial single board computers, to strengthen its position in defense, aerospace, and industrial markets.

Ezurio announced in a press release the acquisition of Gateworks Corporation, a California company that designs and manufactures industrial single board computers for rugged and regulated environments. Gateworks is certified under AS9100D and ISO 9001 and operates a manufacturing facility in San Luis Obispo, California.

Gateworks produces SBCs powered by NXP Semiconductors processors, including the i.MX 95-based Catalina family. Its products support AI acceleration, Wi-Fi HaLow, precision GPS, and satellite connectivity. The company serves customers in defense, aerospace, railway, smart energy, and industrial automation.

Ezurio said the acquisition expands its embedded compute portfolio and adds engineering capabilities for high-criticality markets such as defense, aerospace, and healthcare. Gateworks customers will also gain access to Ezurio’s certified RF module portfolio for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth LE, and multi-protocol connectivity.

Both companies emphasized that their combined operations strengthen domestic production and long-term program support for customers requiring U.S.-made embedded compute solutions.
