Evotec and Odyssey Therapeutics Start AI Drug Discovery Collaboration
Evotec and Odyssey Therapeutics have entered a strategic R&D collaboration to discover small molecule treatments for autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, Evotec announced in a press release.
Under the agreement, Odyssey will use Evotec's data driven discovery platform, screening capabilities, AI enabled data science technologies, and proprietary compound libraries. The work will focus on multiple disease targets and aims to produce validated hit series for Odyssey's discovery stage programs.
The companies said the collaboration will combine high throughput experimentation with machine learning analysis to identify and validate small molecule candidates. Evotec is eligible for milestone payments tied to the delivery of validated hit series for each target. Financial terms were not disclosed.
