EnterpriseDB says organizations are using EDB Postgres AI to combine transactional, analytical, and AI workloads across cloud, hybrid, and on premises environments.

EnterpriseDB said in a press release that organizations are using EDB Postgres AI to combine transactional, analytical, and AI workloads in one governed system. The platform supports cloud, hybrid, and on premises deployments, with governance applied at the data layer.

Italian retailer PAC 2000A Conad rebuilt its data foundation on the platform with EnterpriseDB and Uno Informatica. The system supports more than 1,600 stores and 7,000 devices connected at the same time, with continuous availability and backup and recovery aligned with NIS2 requirements.

EnterpriseDB also identified Industrial Bank of Korea, Shinhan EZ Insurance, NTT East, MNTN, Euronext FX, and Kyobo Book Centre as users of the platform for mission critical and analytical workloads. The company said 95% of enterprises intend to operate their own AI and data platforms within three years, compared with 13% today.

The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
