EBSCO Clinical Decisions and IHCNO Partner to Strengthen Home Care Nursing Guidelines
EBSCO Clinical Decisions and International Home Care Nurses Organization have formed an exclusive collaboration to enhance clinical standards in home-based nursing, announced in a press release. The partnership incorporates IHCNO’s expert clinical validation into EBSCO’s Dynamic Health platform to provide evidence-based nursing guidance directly at the point of care.
IHCNO subject matter experts will conduct systematic reviews of essential nursing skills within the Dynamic Health platform each year. The initial rollout will focus on high-acuity procedures common in home settings, including guidance on managing hypoglycemia and inserting urinary catheters.
The validated skills are integrated into clinical workflows through EBSCO’s Dyna AI search function, enabling nurses and allied health professionals to quickly access certified, evidence-based content. This integration aims to standardize clinical practice and improve safety across the home health sector.
