E8 Angels Opens Applications for Climate-Focused AI Innovations
E8 Angels has announced the launch of its 2025 Decarbon8-US Philanthropic Fund Request for Applications (RFA), focusing on software and AI solutions that drive climate impact. Announced in a press release, the fund encourages early-stage companies at the intersection of technology and climate solutions to apply for funding, mentorship, and visibility.
Applications are open until June 20, 2025, and are targeted at companies in the pre-seed to Series A stages of growth. Eligible companies must have a software and AI solution that promotes climate innovation and decarbonization, with revenue generation or signed Letters of Intent for 2025. The fund offers an average of $300,000 in combined funding, including investments from the Decarbon8-US Fund and direct co-investment from E8 members.
Finalists will pitch to E8's screening committee and membership community this summer, with investment decisions and co-investment opportunities awarded in early September. The initiative is supported by climate leaders such as Microsoft, University of Washington, and JP Morgan Chase.
