DZYNE Technologies Unveils Blitz UAV for Scalable Autonomous Deployment
DZYNE Technologies announced in a press release the launch of Blitz, a modular Group 1 unmanned aerial system engineered for scalable autonomous deployment and affordability. The system is designed for multi mission flexibility and can support swarm operations, addressing defense needs for rapidly deployable and cost effective unmanned systems.
Blitz features a foldable airframe that fits into an 80 liter rucksack and can be assembled in under two minutes. It supports multiple deployment methods including hand launch, four pack rail launch, and the BlitzBox container system capable of deploying dozens of aircraft simultaneously. The drone has a range of 80 to 150 kilometers, endurance of up to two hours, and can carry payloads up to five pounds for ISR, electronic warfare, and deception missions.
The system integrates with ATAK and MAVLink for compatibility with existing command and control ecosystems. Its modular design allows quick replacement of payload bays, wingtips, and navigation modules in the field. DZYNE states that operators can be trained to use Blitz in under two hours.
Blitz is available now for demonstrations and procurement by eligible U.S. and allied customers and will be displayed at SOF Week 2026 in Tampa, Florida.
