DataCamp Acquires UAE-Based Optima and Launches Free Access Program for Educators
DataCamp has acquired Dubai-based Optima, an AI-native learning platform, announced in a press release. Optima’s founder and CEO, Yusuf Saber, will join DataCamp as Chief AI Officer, with all Optima employees becoming part of DataCamp.
As part of the acquisition, DataCamp will offer free access to select learning content for educators, students, and government employees in the United Arab Emirates. This marks the company’s first such initiative in the Middle East.
Optima’s technology will be integrated into DataCamp’s platform over the next six months to enhance its data and AI curriculum. DataCamp stated it remains cashflow positive and expects to surpass $100 million in annualized recurring revenue by the end of 2026.
