Compugen Integrates Ultima Genomics' Sequencing Tech into Unigen Platform
Compugen has enhanced its AI/ML predictive computational discovery platform, Unigen, by integrating Ultima Genomics' single-cell genomics sequencing technology announced in a press release. This collaboration aims to improve the understanding of tumor biology and immune regulation by combining Compugen's computational tools with Ultima's UG 100 sequencing platform.
The integration has shown high consistency in single-cell expression levels, offering a potential advantage for demarcating transcript termination. This advancement was presented at the Advances in Genome Biology and Technology (AGBT) 2025 General Meeting, highlighting the potential of this technology to uncover new regulatory mechanisms in immuno-oncology.
Compugen plans to leverage Ultima's technology further to develop proprietary single-cell atlases, accelerating the discovery of new immunotherapies. The collaboration underscores the potential of combining large-scale data with AI/ML techniques to transform applications constrained by conventional sequencing technology.
