Cleveland Clinic and Axuall Partner on AI-Powered Provider Data Engine
The Cleveland Clinic and Axuall have entered a long-term agreement to co-develop and deploy Axuall Sync, a platform designed to enhance the accuracy, recency, and completeness of provider data across health systems, announced in a press release.
Axuall Sync uses a machine learning–driven provider data network built from thousands of real-world sources, encompassing more than 27 billion data points. The system creates a comprehensive digital record for each clinician, covering demographics, credentials, specialties, practice patterns, and alignment with health systems. It also includes an attrition risk score to support workforce planning.
As part of the collaboration, Axuall updated 50,000 provider records for Cleveland Clinic within three days and now manages over 200,000 external provider records for the institution. The integration supports referral management, care coordination, and regulatory compliance, including CMS Notification of Admissions requirements.
Sync connects with major healthcare platforms through APIs and vendor-specific connectors, including Epic’s Schedulable Epic Resource and Salesforce. Future applications at Cleveland Clinic will include precision scheduling and provider population analytics to address healthcare supply and demand gaps.
