ChurnZero Adds Retrospective AI Agent for Churn Analysis
In a press release, ChurnZero announced Retrospective, an AI agent that analyzes accounts after they are marked as churned. The agent reviews the account history and drafts a churn analysis for a customer success manager to review.
Retrospective reads notes, meetings, surveys, signals, and free text from the account record. It classifies the churn cause using the company’s existing churn reason set and adds a confidence score to each analysis. If no existing reason fits, it proposes a new reason for a customer success leader to review.
The agent is part of Agentic Essentials, ChurnZero’s package of 20 AI agents for customer success workflows, signal detection, and data enrichment. Teams can activate agents through ChurnZero’s AI Marketplace under one subscription with a shared credit pool. The agents can use Knowledge Sources and a Customer Intelligence Profile for context, with access inside ChurnZero or through Claude and ChatGPT using ChurnZero Connect MCP.
