Chrome Autofill Can Pull Form Details From Gmail
Google is adding an AI powered autofill feature to Chrome that can find information in Gmail and suggest it for online forms, according to TechCrunch. The feature can retrieve flight confirmation numbers, membership IDs, tracking details, order numbers, addresses, phone numbers and credit card numbers.
The update expands Personal Intelligence, which connects Google apps with Gemini to retrieve personal information and answer questions. Users can enable or disable enhanced autofill in Chrome settings.
Google says sensitive data is encrypted. The feature is rolling out to users in the US on desktop and through Gemini in Chrome on iOS and Android.
