Google Adds Personal Intelligence to Gemini in Cars
Google is adding Personal Intelligence to Gemini in vehicles, according to TechCrunch. The feature began rolling out through Android Auto on October 20 and will reach cars with Google Built-in in the coming months.
Gemini can use information from connected services including Gmail, Google Calendar, YouTube, Maps and Google Search history. For example, it can alert a driver heading to an airport that a flight listed in their calendar is delayed, or answer questions about the flight's gate and status.
Drivers must opt in to use Personal Intelligence. They can choose which apps to connect, disable the feature at any time and manage access to their Google account data.
