Castrol Cooling Fluids Validated for NVIDIA AI Infrastructure

August 18, 2026
Castrol says its ON PG25 and PG25T cooling fluids have been validated for NVIDIA AI factory and data centre infrastructure.

Castrol has announced that its Castrol ON PG25 and PG25T cooling fluids were validated to meet NVIDIA requirements for AI factory and data centre infrastructure, stated in a press release.

The fluids are designed for direct to chip cooling systems, where liquid circulates through cold plates attached to components such as CPUs and GPUs. Castrol said PG25 is used in closed loop systems, which limits atmospheric exposure and reduces evaporative water loss.

The validation review covered corrosion resistance, thermal stability, dilution water quality, propylene glycol base fluid purity, and compatibility with wetted materials inside liquid cooling systems. The review also considered Castrol's business operations and global supply chain resilience.

Castrol ON PG25 and PG25T are part of the company's thermal management portfolio for data centres, energy storage systems, AI workloads, machine learning, and cloud computing.
