CargoSense Acquires Adapt-IP for Wireless Asset Tracking

CargoSense acquired Adapt-IP, adding wireless asset tracking and environmental monitoring to its supply chain platform for data center operations.

CargoSense acquired Adapt-IP, the company announced in a press release. The acquisition adds wireless asset tracking, environmental monitoring and exception alerts to CargoSense's supply chain platform for data center construction and operations.

Adapt-IP's Spatial IQ system provides three dimensional location accuracy within one meter. A single access point can cover up to 20 million square feet, using short, medium and long range wireless communication across factories and warehouses.

CargoSense uses deterministic AI agents to resolve logistics exceptions, with a human response team handling cases that require human decisions. Adapt-IP's engineering team, led by CEO Michael McNamara, will oversee CargoSense's hardware strategy, deployments and systems integration.
