BD has introduced the BD Incada Connected Care Platform and the next-generation BD Pyxis Pro Automated Medication Dispensing Solution, integrating AI and cloud technologies to unify medical device data and improve medication management.

BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) has introduced the BD Incada Connected Care Platform and the next-generation BD Pyxis Pro Automated Medication Dispensing Solution, announced in a press release.

The BD Incada Platform is a cloud-based, AI-enabled system built on Amazon Web Services infrastructure. It consolidates data from BD devices such as infusion pumps, patient monitors, and pharmacy robotics into a single ecosystem. The platform includes natural language analytics, customizable dashboards, and enterprise-wide visibility into medication inventory, enabling clinicians to access insights and improve medication availability.

The BD Pyxis Pro Dispensing Solution enhances medication storage and access at the point of care. It features expanded capacity, RFID badge scanning, wireless barcode scanners, and illuminated bins to streamline retrieval. The system also includes enhanced security for controlled substances and flexible, stackable configurations for different storage needs.

Together, the BD Incada Platform and BD Pyxis Pro aim to improve connectivity and data management across healthcare environments, supporting faster and more secure medication delivery.
